Welcome new and returning swimmers! The 2023-2024 season is quickly approaching and we are all looking forward to an exciting year. 

 

The first day of practice will be September 25th. Practice groups and schedules are now posted (calendar). Practice groups can be found under Team Info, but will require login. Practice location is PV High School, unless noted as Ursinus on the team calendar. We do our best to maximize pool time and schedules will change once water polo ends and high school swimming starts in November.

 

The parents meeting will be held in the high school auditorium on September 27th at 6:30 pm. The meeting is open to all parents, but new parents are strongly encouraged to attend. It is a great opportunity to ask questions. 

 

Our first dual meet is scheduled November 4th. While the schedule is not finalized, expect to have meets each Saturday in November and December, excluding holidays. Championship meets will be held in January. Our first five meets are against the other teams in our division. You can read more about the league schedule on SAL’s homepage here.

 

Suit and Caps

Suit try-ons will be Monday and Tuesday this week from 6-8 pm in the hallway outside the main entrance to the pool. Please wear a dry suit over which the try-on suit can go. Remember meet suits tend to fit tighter than what you may be used to. If you can not make these dates you may also stop in at Toad Hollow during store hours at 1590 E. Lancaster Ave, Paoli.

 

Once confident in sizing, suits can be ordered from our team ordering page on Toad Hollow's website (here). Orange PVAC logo will be added on the black suit. Suits are not returnable once printed as they are considered custom work. If you purchase in store the suits will be printed while you wait.

 

PVAC silicone caps can be ordered using google form. Caps without names are $16 each. Personalized caps can only be ordered in pairs, $38 for two. Please double check name entries, as we cannot refund for typos. Cap invoicing will occur through the team website. Orders must be submitted by Friday, September 22nd.

Other Upcoming Dates

October 7th is our clothing drive fundraiser. Other items that are accepted include stuffed animals, bikes, scooters, and car seats with bases. This year the drop off location has changed to South Elementary.

 

Our invitational, Fall Fest is scheduled for October 29th! Be on the lookout for more information soon.
