We will compete in dual meets against each of the other five teams in our division, as well as a “cross-over meet” against a team from another division to start the season. The cross-over meet does not count in the Division Standings, but is a good chance to shake out the “bugs” and get meet experience.  A dual meet is where two teams compete. The league is organized with the boys and girls as separate teams. Dual meets are scheduled with boys home and girls away or vise versa.

There are also optional invitational meets, throughout the season, hosted by member clubs of the league. These are:

• Centennial Odd Age Meet at William Tennant High School

• Harvest Meet at Norristown Area High School

• Holiday Classic at Central Bucks High School

• Pennsbury Splash at College of New Jersey

• Last Chance Meet at Upper Merion

These are large, typically all day events where all of the teams of the league are invited. They are optional for the swimmers and require an additional fee paid in advance per swimmer/per event, but they are a good chance for swimmers to get qualifying times for championships, “big meet” experience and an opportunity to swim events that they may not ordinarily swim.

After we have competed against each of the teams in our division, there is a National Conference Dual Meet Championship that groups the teams in the four divisions that finish in the same position in their division. There is also a League Dual Meet Final.

The League Championships are held at LaSalle University. The top 18 swimmers in each event in the entire league qualify for this meet. The coaches will inform you if your child is eligible for league championships.

The Division Championships are open to all swimmers of the division.
