I. I.     Call to order

Michael Schroeder called to order the regular meeting of PVAC Board and Parents at 7PM on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at PV High School room 139.

II II.    Roll call for Board Members

Diane Delman conducted a roll. The following persons were present:

 III.   Discussion

a) Fall Fest - Mike spoke about the compliments that we received from coaches and parents on how well the fall fest meet was run. Missing metals – We will order more metals for the participate who where shorted metal. Only PVAC swimmers were shorted metals. Snack bar ran very well. Thanks to Maureen and Bob Jasek. The club made approximately $5,200.00. Both 50/50s went to SAL. $303 donated.

b) Community Service – Moono Foundation we will have a shoe drive and a swim-a-thon for Leukemia and Diabetes
 

c) Pool Area Outside – Please watch the speed limit around the outside of the building. Also children should wait inside until parents arrive.
 

d) Spirit Wear – Most of the orders are in for spirit wear. We are missing some pieces. Item on back ordered due December 15th.
 

e) Banquet – gathering dates and submitting paper work to school at this point.
 

f) Team Gift – send any ideas to Mike Schroeder
 

g) Fund Raiser – Beef and Beer will be run by Mike and Janel again this year. Many lessons learned from last year. Need raffle gifts for this year beef and beer. Still getting date line up.
 

h) Snack Bar – 5 boys home meets Steve and Mary Pompizzi will run the snack bar for the boys meets.
 

i) Dads Night out –Mike needs to schedule another one.
 

j) Transition Year for Board Member. We will need people to volunteer to run for next year.
 

k) Pottstown Meet – no coaches are being sent.
 

l) Coach Fran messages – this year we will have 4 out of the 5 diving meet on Friday nights. For meets please have children to meets on time. Keep swimmers in pool area. Check in with a coach. If sick call coach Fran at 610-547-3964. Swim practice schedule changes on Nov. 12th.
