I. I. Call to order

Michael Schroeder called to order the regular meeting of PVAC Board and Parents at 6:30 PM on July 26, 2007 at Skippack Swim Club.

II II. Roll call for Board Members

Diane Delman conducted a roll. The following Board members & Coaches were present:

II III. New business

a) Invitational – Named the Fall Festival

Date is tentative for November 4^th pending schools final ok
Brian Zeigler will work on the invitation sheet. We will have ages 8 and unders to 15 and open with relays.

b)      Budget - The board reviewed last years budget and looked over this year’s tentative budget.

c)      By Law Changes for 2007 -2008 – Several changes were added to the By Laws. Once the changes to the By Laws have been completed they will be posted to the web site..

d)     Registration Process and new Volunteer fee - Board discussed the registration process for this year and added the volunteer fee. The volunteer fee will be added back in this year due to the lack of parent volunteering at meets last year.

e)      Fundraisers –

Car Wash - Tentative date is Saturday, September 22 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Season Kick Off Night at the Trappe Tavern – To be announced.
Spirit Wear – New items added this year.
Beef and Beer – 2^nd annual will be held some time next year 2008.

f) Important Dates -

· Parents Meeting -Wednesday, September 5, 2007.

· USA practice Starts - Monday, September 10, 2007.

· Time Trials – Wednesday, September 19^th to Friday, September 21^st.

· Calendar – I will start on the 2007 -2008 calendar and practice schedule.

g) USA Swimming –

Need to select meets for this year.
Fastskin Fundraiser – Speedo now has a black and orange fastskin suit. This will be the USA team suit. We will have a separate fundraiser to help parent defray the cost of this suit which is $120.00 for a girls suit. The fundraisers has not been decided as of yet but two ideas are WAWA hoagie coupons and Burster Ice coupon book.
Meet Payments – This year we are looking to try an EZ pass system for meet cost. Families will deposit a set amount of money and when you enter a meet the cost of that meet will be deducted from your account. Once your account balance falls below a predetermined limit you will get an email about your balance.

. Parent meeting is Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 7:00 pm at PV high school.
